Cherry Blossoms
Today we had our own mini Cherry Blossom festival. We wanted to avoid the crowds down in DC near the monuments, so we went to a neighborhood my friend knew about in Bethesda, MD that has a beautiful canopy of old cherry trees. We got there around 10am on a Sunday morning, and it was surprisingly crowded. The trees were fabulous!

OMG it takes my breath away - WOW!!! I absolutely must see this in person next year.
That is so beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing the cherry blossoms with us!
Amazing blossoms!
OK....this is now on my Bucket List!
What awesome pics!! We have another month till anything starts blooming here. Lucky you.
Wow! Gorgeous! My dad and grandfather are going to be in DC early next month. I wish I could be there to see the cherry blossoms (although we do have some here!). Thanks for sharing.
I loved seeing your photos thanks for sharing the beauty. Bill and I want to ride the bike down to visit the wall sometime soon, he's been there before, but I haven't been yet. I know we'll have to use the GPS because we get lost easy.
oooo how come they are white in color?
but beautiful nonetheless... :D

Here is an article from the local paper about the neighborhood.
That is so beautiful! Those trees must be quite a few years old to make that canopy.

Aren't the Cherry Blossoms just Fabulous??!! We've been up to D.C> twice in the last few weeks for various things and just love driving by! We have some here in Williams burg, but there is nothing to compare with the Tidal basin - it's incredible!!!
WOW, I want to live there!
