And why do we blog?
Tara started a project of self discovery she described like this:
"I've decided that if I'm going to make a go at being a true jewelry designer and not just a stay at home mom who messes around then I need to commit myself to working on my craft in some way shape or form every day. I'm using the term "work" loosely and will allow this to include the simplest of things such as taking pictures of a new piece or ordering a new tool or organizing some supplies."
Maggie joined in, and then we started a FLICKR group and this blog to hold ourselves accountable and document the progress.

Hey you! Don't ever say you have nothing of value to add- most of the things I've accomplished as an artist I've accomplished since meeting you and I attribute a great deal of that TO meeting you- you're my sounding board, my encourager, my ( Y ) kicker, often my inspiration and my very dear friend! I love you! :)
